Help Us

We need your help!

The DemocraKey team needs everyone’s help to spread the word about the key. Send your friends an email, and encourage them to download the software. It’s free, and it will only make their internet experience a better and more safe one. The goal of the DemocraKey is to manage personal privacy and security as computers take over every aspect of our lives. We think the only way for that to happen is with an open source, portable security suite that just works.

In order to achieve that goal, we need every possible contribution we can get. Help out in whatever way you can:

Donations are probably the best ways to contribute at this moment. Every dollar will be put back into development of the DemocraKey. The ability to seek information anonymously should be a human right. Governments are already building databases of your search history. We don’t know if these databases have been abused yet, but we know they probably will be in the future. Why not let the people fix this problem themselves?

No amount is too small to help. Even if you only have a few dollars to give, it goes a long way for development, and makes a huge difference.

Spread the Word

Email your friends the DemocraKey executable. Talk about it. Research it. Write a report on it. This technology is only as powerful as the number of people who use it on a regular basis. By spreading the word, you ensure the future of it’s development, and of personal data security of everyone.

Help Develop the DemocraKey

Contribute your source. I’m ready to start building a complete privacy suite, and need people to help develop portions. Leave a comment or email me at burningion at gmail.

Is the Pro version at V3 also?

Yes, the Pro Version is at 3.0 also. However, it also includes features not available in the Lite or Full versions. This includes faster speeds, and country selection.

Attempted to use the new Live CD via unetbootin on three different usb drives, all 4 gigs or larger, would not boot. Loads up to starting live disk, then panics and reboots.
Use on a usb drive would be helpful to most of us, who would use this OS on a netbook, etc.
Anyway, enticing concept!

Hey C Alexand,

You can download the image specific to a USB drive over at SuseStudio. In order to boot off a USB key, you’ll need to use DD or ImageWriter. I can give you a write up on exactly how to do that if you need, or if you’ve got it, just let me know.

Have attempted to download the usb key version from SuseStudio several times now, always receive an error page. Apparently the d/l is not working… Any help?
Would also like install directions for either winXP or Ubuntu 10.04.1.
